Hydrogenated nitrile rubber has superior oil resistance compared to nitrile rubber, but if the requirements for oil resistance are not too strict, nitrile rubber can be used because hydrogenated nitrile rubber is relatively expensive. Nitrile rubber also has certain acid and alkali resistance. However, for higher requirements for oil and acid-alkaline resistance, silicone rubber should be chosen, but its price is higher.
