Material selection for the turntable bearing blanks


Generally, 50Mn is used for the sleeve of turntable bearings. Sometimes, 42CrMo with higher hardness is used to meet the needs of special application occasions. Turntable bearing manufacturers strictly screen the blank suppliers and strictly follow the traceability procedures. For each blank, the whole process data such as the source of the blank, quality inspection, etc. can be traced according to the number.


Gear processing technology for the turntable bearing


The equipment used for processing the teeth part still mainly uses ordinary gear rolling machines and gear machines, although they are convenient for adjustment and maintenance, the production efficiency is low. To solve the problem of low processing efficiency, while increasing the number of gear rolling machines and gear hobbing machines, high-speed milling machines are used, which have high processing efficiency and good surface finish quality.


For slewing rings used in some harsh working conditions, such as excavators, pile drivers, wood grabbers, leveling machines, etc., which have larger impact loads, the tooth surface needs to be quenched. The hardness after quenching is between 45-60HRC, depending on the module size. For working conditions commonly used in cranes, tower cranes, etc., the tooth surface does not need to be heat-treated.


With the rapid development of industry, slewing rings are increasingly widely used in the automation industry. In this application field, the accuracy requirements for teeth are relatively high. To cope with the rapid changes in the market, higher-precision requirements have been put forward for equipment in the construction of new factories to meet the market demand. Introduction to the analysis of gear faults in the turntable bearing


If the clearance between the large and small gears is improperly adjusted during installation and fails to meet the requirements, poor meshing of the two gears can cause tooth breakage during operation. The clearance adjustment should be strictly in accordance with the requirements. If the clearance between the small gear and the large gear at the position where the tooth jump is the largest is not adjusted according to the requirements, the small gear will jam when meshing with the large gear at the position where the tooth jump is the largest during operation, resulting in tooth breakage. The adjustment should be made at the position marked with green paint and the small gear, and then tested according to the requirements. If the axes of the large and small gears are not parallel during installation, poor meshing of the two gears can cause tooth breakage. The two gear axes should be kept parallel. If the bolts for installation are not tightened, poor meshing of the large and small gears can cause tooth breakage. The bolts should be tightened according to the requirements.
